10 Hours Verified Training 2018
Welcome to the verifiable component of the Real Estate Continuing Education 2018
The Real Estate Agents Authority (REA) recognises that continuing education is necessary to:
-
Raise and maintain industry standards
-
Promote consumer confidence in the real estate industry
The REA has therefore designed a continuing education programme to improve licensees’ knowledge of the law, rules and regulations that govern the industry, to understand and uphold the concepts of ethics and professional competence in a real estate context, and to improve their skills and judgement.
Each year licensees must complete:
-
10 hours of verifiable continuing education
-
10 hours of non-verifiable continuing education.
The topics for 2018 include:
-
Supervision
-
Appraisals
-
Knowing the parties to the contract
-
Methamphetamine standard and disclosure obligations in situations involving affected properties
-

This course option is provided by Open Polytechnic (an Approved Provider under the REA) and forms the 10 hours of verifiable continuing education in a convenient online format.
